WP1 – Project Management

WP1 – Project Management

Coordination, data management and mentoring activities running across the full lifetime of the COSA project.

Duration

M1–M36

Objectives

  • Coordinate the project efficiently and proactively.
  • Manage the data and data flows within the project according to EU regulations.
  • Coach and mentor the young researchers (PhD students and postdocs).

Description of work

T1.1 – Project coordination (M1–M36)

Technical coordination of the project, including organisation of the management structures, preparation and chairing of the project meetings, control of the development activities, and management of the official project meetings with the funding authority. This task ensures that the project delivers on its commitments in terms of scope, time, budget and quality.

T1.2 – Data management (M1–M36)

Collecting and processing agricultural data is essential to the quality of the COSA results. As part of the establishment and operation of the project’s use cases, COSA produces and makes available data sets, in line with the FAIR principles. This task is responsible for the data management strategy and for the operational handling of data across the project lifetime.

T1.3 – Team management and coaching (M1–M36)

Some of the project objectives focus on the development of a research team comprising young researchers (PhD students and postdocs) capable of high-quality output. This task ensures close mentoring and coaching in terms of research methodologies and how to translate ideas into publishable, applicable results.

Deliverables

  • D1.1–D1.3 — Periodic Project Reports (M12, M24, M36) according to the rules of the programme.
  • D1.4 — Data management strategy (M12).
