Prof. Dr. Eng. Teodor Rusu from the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca, Romania, teaches the courses of Agrotechnics, Experimental Techniques, and Rural Development. Director of the research center for Sustainable Agricultural Systems and Minimum Tillage Technologies (2011-2023). Deputy Director of the Department of Technical and Soil Sciences (2009-present). Director, Office of Soil Survey and Agrochemical Cluj (2014-2024). He was Vice-Dean (2008-2012) and Dean (2024-present) of the Faculty of Agriculture.

Teodor Rusu has worked as a soil pedologist for three years and as an agrotechnician for the last 29 years, specializing in research on soil monitoring, soil tillage, soil quality, minimum tillage, no-tillage, weed control, sustainable agricultural technologies, and the impact of climatic changes. PhD supervisor in the field of Agrotechnics (since 2009), where he has coordinated and supervised the completion of 24 doctoral theses and currently has eight doctoral students on internship. In research, he has a rich experience, being director / responsible for 18 research projects, such as: CNCSIS (AT, A); CEEX (MI, MIII); PNII (MIA-SCG, ERA-TIL); UEFISCDI (CI); PCCA (MODSOIL); ROSA (HORUS); PCCDI (SEDMAGRO); COST; PCE (JRP, USDA, AGROCEO); MACSUR; H2020 (LANDMARK); ICT-AGRI-FOOD (GoHydro); MADR (ADER); HORIZON (TRAILS4SOIL).
